TaskHuman

Overview
TaskHuman is a global coaching and wellness platform that connects users with coaches across hundreds of life and professional skills. The project aimed to redesign the entire user experience and interface of the platform—across mobile, web, and tablet devices—to create a seamless, scalable, and visually cohesive ecosystem that improves user engagement, onboarding, and discoverability.

Problem
The existing product suffered from fragmented flows, inconsistent UI patterns, and limited scalability. Users found it challenging to discover relevant coaches or programs easily, navigate multiple entry points between sessions, skills, and goals, understand the value proposition clearly during onboarding, and maintain a consistent experience between mobile and web interfaces.

Objective
To redesign the entire TaskHuman platform from the ground up—unifying UX patterns, visual design, and product structure while aligning with new business goals and global audience needs.

My Role
Lead UX/UI Designer — Responsible for the end-to-end design process, from research and strategy to final delivery.
Key contributions included: leading user research, interviews, and UX audits with global users; designing a new information architecture and navigation system; creating a comprehensive cross-platform design system; designing and prototyping the complete TaskHuman interface for iOS, Android, and Web; collaborating closely with PMs, Engineers, and Brand teams to ensure cohesive execution and accessibility compliance.

Research & Insights
Conducted qualitative interviews with users and coaches across different geographies. Identified usability gaps in onboarding, session discovery, and booking flow. Mapped detailed user journeys to reveal friction points and engagement drop-offs. Discovered that users desired more transparency, personalization, and guidance when booking sessions.

Design Process

1. Discovery & Research: User interviews, heuristic evaluations, and competitor benchmarking.

2. Information Architecture: Reorganized content into intuitive categories—Skills Library, Coaches, and Programs.

3. Wireframing & Prototyping: Created low to high-fidelity flows for onboarding, search, booking, and sessions.

4. Visual System & Branding: Established a unified design system with color tokens, typography hierarchy, and responsive components.

5. Accessibility & Testing: Validated designs with users and internal stakeholders, optimizing for inclusivity and global usability.
